Translation Memory Import

The user can import previously created translation memory file into the current project. After the translation memory is imported, it can be used in the existing project translations. Translation memory data storing previously added translations for all target languages of the project is displayed in the Translation Memory pane.

Lingobit Localizer supports import of the following translation memory file formats:

Import TMX – import from TMX or Translation Memory eXchange, a data exchange file format which is used to transfer translation memories between different software localization tools

Import text/CSV – import from a text file; basically, plain text is the most common type of translation data exchange. Text file contains translations of a single selected language only.

Import Native - import translation memory from other Lingobit Localizer project. Translation Memory file has .loc_tm extension.
